Treatments
Anti-wrinkle treatment
This treatment is probably the most popular cosmetic medical treatment for facial lines and wrinkles in the UK and can be used successfully in combination with other rejuvenation treatments.
Treatment is a simple, non-surgical procedure that smoothes persistent lines between your eyebrows, on your forehead and on your outer eye area. A treatment session consists of a few tiny needle pricks that relax the muscles. By relaxing the muscles under the skin, facial lines that are formed by the pulling of the underlying muscles will diminish or disappear.
Botulinum Toxin (more commonly known as Botox® ) is a simple, minimally invasive treatment and there is no recovery time needed (most people are able to return to work immediately after the treatment). The muscle-relaxing benefits of the procedure can last up to an average of four months.
Peels
Peels have increased in popularity over the past two decades and can be a very effective treatment to rejuvenate and tighten the skin, treat sun damage, reduce lines and wrinkles and deal with abnormal pigmentation problems. They are also a very powerful treatment for acne and can be very effective where more conventional treatments have failed to adequately control this condition.
There are many different types of medical peels and they can be used on the face, hands, décolleté (neck), arms and legs. Some peels are carried out as a course of treatment (weekly or monthly), others are applied in a single treatment.
Most peels also involve the use of home aftercare products and it is very important to follow the skincare instructions you are given following a peel to ensure you gain maximum benefit from your investment in your skin.
Dermal fillers
Dermal fillers can help to restore your skin to its former youthful, fuller appearance. As the skin ages it loses some of its collagen and fat which prevent the skin from sagging. This loss leads to the skin becoming lined and wrinkled.
Fillers are injected into the areas of the skin where it needs to be plumped up again and made to look firmer. The treatment can have an enormously positive effect on your appearance.
Fillers are available in different thicknesses. In general, the thicker the filler product, the deeper it will be injected into the dermal layer of the skin. This choice enables us to treat fine lines, deep lines and wrinkles.
Dermal fillers are not a new treatment. As early as the late 1800s, doctors would take fat from other parts of a patient's body and inject it into their faces! Thankfully today there are various kinds of safe, natural and synthetic materials used as dermal fillers that have been specially developed and approved for injection into the skin.
MTS Roller Therapy
Microneedle Therapy System
The MTS Roller is a barrel-like roller with 200 tiny micro needles that are thinner than a human hair. When the needles are rolled across the skin, hundreds of microscopic 'pin pricks' are created causing micro-inflammation. Your body responds by repairing itself, creating new collagen that builds up below the skin surface. When used on wrinkles, fine lines and scars the production of new collagen helps to smooth and rejuvenate the skin.
MTS doesn’t inject serums or solutions, but used in conjunction with topical applications – peptides, anti-oxidents, hyaluronic acid and hair growth formulas – it significantly increases their effectiveness.
